Description
Marty Paich Quartet Featuring Art Pepper Tampa TP 28 mono "Black and silver" deep groove label and red vinyl THIS IS THE ORIGINAL ISSUE AND IS NOT THE LATER WIDELY BOOTLEGGED PINK LABEL
Art Pepper (as), Marty Paich (piano), Buddy Clark (b) Frank Capp (d) Recorded 1956
"Black and silver" label and deep groove both sides. Record is "Flat Edge" and pressed on red vinyl. Cover has "Hollywood California" address. Cover is laminated without printing on spine.
Record looks and plays beautifully--- strong VG++. A very nice copy that plays cleanly and quietly. No scratches. Few very light scuffs on Side 1. On both sides, there's spots on the surface of the vinyl which look like a pressing issue or discoloration. They do not affect play. Grooves do not look gray or heavily worn.
Cover is VG+
Front cover is very glossy and bright has moderate wear and some fading. Top corner at the pocket is dented. Tiny spots of heavy wear at the corners of the pocket. Bottom seam is split app 1 and 1/2 inches in the middle and is untaped. The split is tight and not that noticeable. Spine and top seam are tight and intact. The back cover has moderate wear and fading.
