Description

This is Blue Note Records BST 84156, Art Blakey Freedom Rider, a blue and white New York USA label original stereo issue of this classic record with the ear (p) mark and Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG+(+) condition, (a strong VG+) showing some light marks on both sides. The record plays quietly throughout with no skips or distortion. The laminated cover, with the 43 West 61st St. New York 23 address, has a loss on the back cover and is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels show light spindle marks. An original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this classic original Blue Note with all the proper markings evident. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins.
