Description

Up for auction is an original deep groove mono pressing of the Art Blakey 'A Night At Birdland Volume 2' LP on Blue Note Records BLP-1522. The other musicians are Clifford Brown, Lou Donaldson, Horace Silver, and Curly Russell.

Record info:

Visually it looks and plays VG but it does skip once on side two so I have downgraded it to G+. Overall it plays well and certainly is worth owning.

Cover info:

The cover has about 3/4 full seam split on top, the spine has a full split, and the bottom has heavy wear with an area that is tape repaired. The front cover has an area on the top left corner with some tape that wraps around to the back. The back cover has writing by the track listing.

Pressing info:

The original 767 Lexington label deep groove flat edge mono press with RVG initials and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $12 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $20. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.

Payment by Paypal only.

All payments are required within 5 days of auction ending.

We combine shipping on multiple item winnings to save on shipping.

Happy bidding!
