Description

This is Impulse Records A-86, Archie Shepp Fire Music, an orange and black "ABC-Parmount" label, original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light marks. The record plays quietly throughout except for a brief moment where some light background crackle is audible on the second track on side 1. This is not a major distraction and the rest of the record plays wonderfully. The glossy gate-fold cover has some light loss on the edge of the folds but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included as well. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode.
