Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Spring," by Antony Williams, featuring Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Sam Rivers, and Gary Peacock. See pictures for song list. This was released by Blue Note Records (BLP 4216) in 1965. Here are some specifics about this LP:

12" black vinyl with etched A-B matrix endings, "VAN GELDER" is stamped on either side and the ear symbol is present in the dead wax, lightly grooved blue and white paper labels with the 'New York USA' address, and a 1939-1966 27 Years Blue Note 43 West 61st St inner sleeve within a heavy gauge back-pasted picture sleeve

LP is VG++, with several faint scuffs on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle and tics). LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. There is no address on the back of the jacket. This LP still sounds great - this is a really nice copy of this original LP! Jacket is VG+, with a couple of tiny seam splits. The top seam has a seam split about 1/8 inch long, between the center and the front top left corner. The bottom seam has a split that starts in the front lower left corner and travels toward the mouth about 1/8 inch. There is a small ink mark in the front lower left corner (see pictures). All seams and corners show wear. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. There is some discoloration on the back of the jacket. The front coloring is still bright, and the front and back retain a nice gloss. Throughout the month of December I will be listing more extremely rare, hard to find titles in very nice shape - from the estate of a serious collector. Don't miss out of this rare gem!
