You are bidding on a 78 rpm original circa 1939 EXPLOITATION RECORD for the Universal Pictures Musical Film ARGENTINE NIGHTS. The record, which only available "For and to Theatres for exploiting ARGENTINE NIGHTS" ... basically an extremely rare, not commercially available promo disc...a record version of a movie trailer.
The disc features performances by THE ANDREW SISTERS ( Rum Boogie , Hit The Road, Ah He Loves Me), the RITZ BROTHERS ( Spirit of 76,) and the ANDREWS & RITZ's singing BROOKLYN-ONGA . ... An announcer promotes the film inbetween all the singing. Rare Stuff
Disc was pressed by COLUMBIA and is numbered UP 36 on the label and shellac ..the disc is in a fabulous E (Excellent ) condition
