Description

From the George Shearing collection comes this original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Andrew Hill “Smokestack” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4160.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with just an inaudible scuff and light storage splotching on Side 1.  The coated New York 23 cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; braille strip on the left edge of the front.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Richard Davis, Eddie Khan, and Roy Haynes.  $200.00..
