Description
This is simply an amazing single from The Black Godfather himself (with a little help from the soon-to-be-huge Jack White), a long out-of-print 7" single released in 1998 on Bloodshot Records: "Lily White Mama/Jet Black Daddy", with the excellent B-side "Ramblin' Man". The A-side is a barnstormer with a lot of dirty electric country-blues skronk guitar work from Jack White, plus some call-and-response vocals featuring Jack as well. The B-side is an amazing cover of a Hank Williams song which should be known by any self-respecting country fan.
The record is in amazing shape and has been rarely played by me since I bought it years ago. The vinyl is this beautiful (lily) white. I think only 500 of these were produced, so grab this while you can.
