Description

You are bidding on a 7" single of the Sex Pistols "Anarchy In The UK" on the EMI label. This copy is a factory sample as supplied to media outlets for promotional purposes. It is numbered EMI 2566 and was issued in 1976. Most people now know the history of this particular disc. This is the version that gives production credit to Chris Thomas for "Anarchy.." and credits Dave Goodman with the production of the B side "I Wanna Be Me". The disc is in good condition with only a very little surface noise on the A side and clicks on the very end of the B side. The red EMI sleeve has some creasing on a couple of the corners and a slight tear away from the label aperture on one side. This is THE punk classic and so a collectors item. Good bidding.
