 Alwin Nikolais - Choreosonic Music of the New Dance Theatre of... (Hanover HM 5005).

Incredible electronic/musique concrete percussion LP for Nikolais' abstract audio-visual theatre art. Bugged out effects over all manner of percussion instruments: shakers, rattles, bells, gongs, cymbals, wood blocks, etc., all tape-spliced and manipulated to sculpt the psychedelic headspace. Some of the beats sound almost Brazilian -- check this soundclip for a taste.
