Description

The Effervescent EP is a 2014 release (initially self-released on November 19, 2014, with some sources noting a digital drop in July 2014). It's a single-track instrumental jam clocking in at 25:16 minutes, recorded raw to a four-track cassette tape for an organic, lo-fi vibe. The lineup was:Robby Staebler: Drums
Michael Parks Jr.: Bass
Allan Van Cleave: Fender Rhodes
Ben McLeod: Electric Guitar (also producer)

This EP followed their debut album Our Mother Electricity (2013) and their earlier Extra Pleasant EP (also 2013, recorded similarly on cassette). It's praised for its dreamy, laid-back experimental side—think soothing, fuzzy headphone sessions evoking 70s psych jams.
Fans call it "pure dreamy instrumental bliss" that showcases the band's organic side.


A vinyl 12" version was released in 2016, limited and available at shows, with some editions including a reversed track ("tnecsevreffE") for a total runtime over 50 minutes
