Alice Cooper - STRAIGHT PROMO Label, USA Pressing
Even though the cover is not in the best condition, this record is still VERY RARE. I've seen about 7 copies in the last 15 years of collecting.
As you can see from the photos, the cover is very worn and has quite a bit of sticky tape around the edges (as the cover has split on the top and bottom. I don't know why there is tape on the gatefold side, it only has a small split in the center. It certainly doesn't need tape there to hold it together.
On the back cover, someone has written "skip on Dwight Fry!" I played it and didn't hear the skip. So if there is, it must be very small.
The label is in EXCELLENT condition.
The record is in VG+/EX- condition (depending how strict you are at grading). It has a few light scuffs (which I don't think would affect the quality too much) and a couple of bigger scratches, which I'm sure you will hear when played (sorry, I have too many records to listen to them all right through to grade in this way). Overall, the record is in good enough condition to listen and enjoy without problem.
Don't forget this record is 38 years old!!!
As most of the USA covers for this LP was the same, you could easily exchange covers to have an EXCELLENT copy all round for this rare LOVE IT TO DEATH STRAIGHT PROMO LABEL.
