Incredible...... I was there and it was magnificent beyond words. Alice Coltrane Swamini Turiyasangitananda appeared to be in a state of trance. She explained she had just come from Egypt meditating on the Sphinx. She was playing all of this from a high state of cosmic consciousness. A dear friend she was absolutely phenomenal!

Live at the Berkeley Community Theater 1972 is a live album by Alice Coltrane. It was recorded at the Berkeley Community Theater in Berkeley, California, in July 1972, and was released as a double album in 2019 by the German label BCT. On the album, Coltrane appears on harp, piano and organ, and is joined by bassist Charlie Haden, sarod player Aashish Khan, tablaplayer Pranesh Khan, drummer Ben Riley, and a tamboura player listed simply as Bobby W. The recording features three compositions associated with John Coltraneplus a version of Alice Coltrane's "Journey in Satchidananda"
The four tracks featured for the performance (three John Coltrane compositions) – Journey in Satchidananda, A Love Supreme, My Favorite Things and Leo, show a group in full flight to the cosmos. Alice Coltrane leads the ensemble on organ, piano and harp. This show, in particular, is as searing a document of musicians in full launch to outer space.
