Description
David O Selznick presents Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound with Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck.Musical score excerpts conducted by Dr.Miklos Rozsa and the Selznick recording studio.There are two double sided 78rpm 12'' marked electrical transcription discs for reference work only .The other side of the discs have the excerpts from the score of the film .''Since you went away'' with Judy Garland,Claudette Colbert,Jennifer Jones ,Shirley Temple ,Joseph Cotten ,Lionel Barrymore and others.These very rare discs were not for commercial distributing .Selznick produced some the the greatest Hollywood films of all time including ''Gone with the wind'' ,Duel in the sun.Portrait of Jennie .A Star is Born .and many others .He was executive producer of ''King Kong ''.I do not have a 78 record player to fully enjoy these classic Hollywood recordings .There may have been a 3rd disc but these are the only 2 I have .Spellbound part 1 and 2 .Since you went away part 2 and 3 .Part of Hollywood history .call or ask any questions as I know little about these types of recordings other than their were ''very few'' made. 865-357-1560 Tn price is for both discs which appear to be in beautiful condition.will pack well and ship priority although ebay does not let me add this option cost.
