An original 12” vinyl pressing of Southern Nights by the legendary New Orleans musician, songwriter and producer Allen Toussaint.
Released in 1975, Southern Nights is widely regarded as one of Toussaint’s finest albums, blending New Orleans R&B, funk, soul and jazz influences with his distinctive songwriting and piano style. The title track, “Southern Nights”, later became an international hit for Glen Campbell, while Toussaint’s original version remains a beautifully atmospheric and deeply personal recording. The album also features standout tracks including “Last Train”, “Worldwide” and “Back in Baby’s Arms”.
