Description
This is an auction for an Alan Parsons Project album, I Robot, pressed by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in 1982. Released as MFSL 1-084, this is the half-speed original master recording, and this album contains the special MFSL static free inner sleeve and the cardboard wraparound insert originally issued with it. The condition is described below:
Album cover grade: NM-
The album cover is (for lack of a better term) near flawless. This section is a bit short, but there is really nothing to note other than the condition itself being amazing on the cover.
Vinyl visual grade: VG+ / NM-
The vinyl looks at least VG+, maybe even closer to NM-. This is a visually stunning copy, very high gloss with no more than a few of the finest imaginable scratches or surface marks. This was very well kept and the labels are perfect as well.
Vinyl audio grade: VG+
The vinyl sounds really nice, playing fully and continuously throughout with no problem on just 1 gram on the counterweight. There is a very light hint of static, but it is not uncomfortable even in the softest passages throughout the album. Side 1 sounded slightly cleaner than side 2, but side 2 was VG+ all the way through anyway with just a hint of audible wear. Very smooth listen on this album, and a great addition to any collection!

GRADING :
I use modified goldmine standards in the following grades: Still Sealed, Mint (perfect in every way, certainly never played), NM- (usually my highest grade as the sealed stuff is listed elsewhere, but indicitive of near perfect quality), VG+ (outstanding, but may have the slightest of wear), VG (closer to better than average, where there is light wear), VG- (an average condition used album where there is definte wear, but not overwhelming), and G (will still play but not look or sound very nice, borderline uncomfortable listening). I will not list items in worse condition than G.
SHIPPING
I will ship anywhere at the world at buyer expense, and get a quote for a particular location within 2 business days of being asked. I have shipping shown with USPS media mail, but that is only because it is the cheapest option. Delivery confirmation runs an extra .70 for domestic media mail, and it is required and to be paid by the buyer if media mail is chosen. I will also ship any other (reasonable) service but will not use FED EX due to my hatred of them. That aside, I would recommend USPS media mail in my experience for both shipping cost and reliability.
RETURNS/REFUND POLICY:
No returns or refunds accepted on this item, but I have not had any problems with my grading or shipping/packing in the past, (check the feedback) and I am confident there will not be any issues here either.

I am a former record store owner who closed up shop and has been transitioning to an online only set up. I also work a full time job in a shipping department, so you can bid with confidence as I have much experience in both dealing records and properly packing and shipping boxes of stuff.
