Description
I just play-graded the album. There are two issues.
Side 1 intro has a 4-5 second popping before going away. The rest of side plays EX-NM. Side 2 is EX-NM. There is only an occasional tick or pop. Very quiet playing Japanese pressed vinyl!
ON side 2 - IN THE DEAD WAX ONLY is a VPI record cleaning machine “rub” (see last pic) that does affect play. If not for these two issues the album would be nm!
The gatefold jacket is BEAUTIFUL and is NM. This is the best sounding single disc 33 1/3 you can buy!
If you need a mint play copy of I Robot, don’t buy it. If you can live with the two issues I described and want a great sounding album, buy it. Please be aware of the intro and dead wax issue.
All my used albums ship in brand new clear outer sleeves with the vinyl pulled from the jacket and placed behind the outer jacket and inside the clear jacket sleeve for safe shipping. I ship with cardboard stiffeners and foam in new lp mailers.
