Description

OVERVIEW

Outstanding, still sealed, vinyl record album of Alan Parson's masterpiece:  I Robot.

Alan Parsons was the mastering engineer for one of the greatest albums (and audiophile recordings) of all time - Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon - and this version of I Robot sounds better than both my UHQR of Dark Side of the Moon and my UHQR of I Robot

This album was transferred via an all-tube cutting system from the original 1/4" analog master tapes at Bernie Grundman Mastering. It was pressed on 200 gram Clarity Vinyl.

Classic Records produced only 20 of these rare box sets that were pressed on two 200 gram 12" LPs made of Clarity Vinyl and recorded at the best speed for sound quality - 45 RPM.

Great sounding record... very little surface noise, nice tight bass, crisp clear highs. And not only that, I'd say this is the best album from The Project. It blows me away!!

I-Robot is the 1st Alan Parsons recording I own. I just love this record, I did right from the 1st time I played it. One or two tracks remind me a little of pink floyd? - only better. The LP has no surface noise, and makes my analogue system sound the way it should - sensational

Excellent sonics, great tracks start to finish. Quiet flat vinyl. Very crank-able, an album that will be played a lot.

Have no other versions to compare this to but to my ears it sounds right.
