Alan Burn--Parkin' Meters/Okay, okay--Island Records, Fairbanks Alaska I-100. RARE First Single
Incredibly rare and mostly unknown single by future garage-rock artist Alan Burn (Jaguars/Ushers/All Right 5). Born in Lewiston ME, he attended Univ. of Alaska at Fairbanks in the early 1960's. While there, an appearance on Alaska Bandstand led to this record, his first single on his own label: Island Records, Fairbanks Alaska. This is one of only two known releases on Island. Subsequent Alan Burn singles came out on the tiny Tuesday Records label and one single on the national Mala Records label in 1965. A couple of these records have sold on Ebay for three figures. There is no indication, this, his first single has ever been sold on Ebay

Vinyl Appears: VG. each side has some light wear, no major scratches or scuffs, still nice sheen for this rare record
Vinyl Plays: VG, no loud pops, skips or repeat grooves
Labels: each side has apparent wear and stains. Side A) has tear, re-glued.
Each label has loose spots where the adhesive has dissolved.
Sleeve: generic sleeve
Very Rare Record! Possibly only copy that has ever been put up for auction.
