This is one of the rarest of the seventies. Al Basim, an Iranian student in Denver, Colorado, recorded this album with some friends of his (David Reskin, John Starrett, Phil Carter, George Keith). Apparently, he returned to Iran during the Islamic revolution and all of the copies he took along with him, were destroyed. Al, having recorded with musicians of Jewish origin, is supposed to have been executed. How many copies have survived? No one knows... I, for one, only know of one copy having been sold by THE major rare record dealer in the world for EUR 375, so here's your one and only chance to get hold of this prog rock crossover monster before it stays in my personal collection until the end of time!
The music is just fantastic: a rare blend of progressive and folk rock, with some jazz elements, the odd psych touch ..... a real behemoth, masterpiece, gem ... call it what you want: it's one of the most sublime albums I've had the honour to own in my life!!!!! It's also the most expensive album I've ever had in my possession, and I need cash real urgently, so I have to let it go ..... and I don't like doing so, but hey .... you'll allow me to buy other great stuff if you buy this!
