Opportunity for a bargain; listed as used but only played once copy of the vinyl edition of the MTV concert performed by A-ha.
The set is in exactly the same condition as from new apart from being opened and (genuinely) being played once. There are some manufacturing blemishes which you may or may not care about. I have personally heard 3 copies of this edition and they were all the same-it is a GZ pressing and anyone who buys records on a regular basis should know what that means.
All 3 records play through with no skips but there is some surface noise and surface marks as detailed below. It is an ideal play copy of this excellent concert.
Jacket: As new and still in its stickered shrink. No splits.
Inner Sleeves: All as new. There are some little creases caused by the idiots in the plant who can't place an LP in its sleeve without pulling the sleeve back on itself to insert the LP. No splits.
LPs: As new and played once. As with all GZ records (in my experience), the records were absolutely filthy, covered in white dust and bits of crud from the pressing process as from new. I did a very basic wet clean on the records but they could do with a thorough clean. The records do have pressing marks, scuff marks and hairlines running across the discs none of which are from use. Disc 1, side 1 has a funny little mark on track 2, which was there from new and the label on side F is slightly squashed and has a line running through it.
All three records play through with no skips or enormous pops (not on my turntable anyway) but there are ticks and clicks at various points on all three discs. If you are not too bothered about such things, it is an ideal play copy but please do not bid on it if this sort of thing is going to bother you. I noted a small, brief amount of surface noise distortion on Stay on these roads (Side C, track 1).
Hope this goes to a good home. Some of the clicks are occasionally repetitive through small portions of some songs. Like I said, the records do need a thorough clean and some of these might disappear but I am selling it on the understanding the records have marks, ticks and clicks.
