Label: Electrola 80 825. Mono. German quality pressing. Recorded November 1933 / September 1932. Technically improved April 1964. Series Everlasting, Unforgotten vol.193. (Unvergänglich, Unvergessen)
Record: near mint. Plays superbly on my turntable Kenwood and Denon DL 160 System. Surface is glossy and no noticeable signs on hole (cf.the 2 photos of the record)
Cover: excellent+ : edges are slightly pushed. 1 biro mark and 1 sticker on frontcover. Otherwise near mint. With original inner sleeve in best condition.
The German violinist Adolf Busch (1891-1952) was one of four brothers coming from the region "Siegerland" in Western Germany. His brother Fritz Busch became a worldwide praised conductor. His brother Hermann Busch was a famous violoncellist. Since 1930 he was cellist in the Busch Quartet, successor of Paul Grümmer. The brothers went into exile during the Nazi regime. Jascha Heifetz called Adolf Busch best violinist of the world.
