Abba Voulez Vous 1979 One-Sided U.S.12" White Label Test Pressing

This is a near mint condition, very rare, white label 12" test pressing Abba "Voulez Vous". It was manufactured by Specialty Records for Atlantic Records in 1979. Test pressings were made in advance of regular pressings for quality control purposes. They were very selectively distributed to record label V.I.P.s and the artist and their management for approval. Very few were produced and most copies were destroyed. They were never made available to the general public. This 12" single has "Voulez Vous" on the a-side. The b-side is blank ( no grooves, no music and a blank white label). The white label on the a-side has "Voulez Vous" plus record company information written in red ink. There is a date written as well, "8/13/79". The record comes in a white cardboard jacket. Written in blue ink on the top left hand corner is " Abba Voulez Vous". It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1979.

Buyer agrees to pay shipping costs of $11.00 to American addresses; $21.00 elsewhere for air mail-small packet. If this item sells for over $100.00 it must be shipped via Xpresspost/Expedited mail, which has a tracking number and full insurance. Depending on where you live, and the value of the item, the cost for this service could be an extra $40.00 on top of the regular price. An exact cost will be determined at the end of the auction.
