Description
This is a fine copy from a numbered, limited edition unofficial 1996 reissue of the ultra rare sole LP (not counting archival releases) by Christian rock group Azitis ("As it is"), originally released in 1971. From Sacramento, California, the group played music that was by turns light and more rocking, sometimes with a progressive edge. A notable instance of the latter tendency is the organ driven track "From This Place," which was released as a single. This pressing represents the first time the record was reissued in any format. The record is housed in a thin textured black cardboard folder with images and text printed in silver. It is close to pristine (M-). The front cover art, it's worth noting, has been changed to appeal to a more general rock audience (the original front cover showed the earth with a large cross coming out of it). The back cover of this reissue replicates the original in substance, though the silver on black is a change. The disc is clean, and plays with occasional light surface noise from the source disc -- visually graded, M-. This copy is #247/300.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
