Ayers Rock Hot Spell LP

Here on offer is arguably Australia’s best funk album by super band Ayers Rock. Entitled Hot Spell this rare album was released in 1980 on the obscure Red Rock label RR6321. Ayers Rock commenced their musical career in 1973 in Melbourne as a brilliant and creative Avant guarde jazz rock outfit which recorded two awesome albums – Big Red Rock and Beyond. These guys were virtually royalty of Australia’s musicians.
In 1980 with some line up changes including Andy Cowan keyboards and Keith Casey on vocals this awesome album was recorded with a rich dark killer funk style never experienced in Australia before. Although it shocked some of their original fans, including myself, it has stood the test of time as a classic but unfortunately rare Australian funk album.

CONDITION
Vinyl – Clean surface. Some minor surface noise on a couple of tracks. Small tear on side 1 label – VG+.
Cover – Minor scuffing on edges. Has insert. Excellent.
Not to be missed by those who appreciate killer funk albums. You will not be disappointed by this masterpiece. This album will rock your socks off !
