This is the very first pressing from January 1954 - the dates are printed on the reverse of each sleeve.
This is the very first pressing with the gold lettering and the plum labels. Later pressings had silver lettering.
Also the UK tax code on the labels are N which ran from April 15th 1953 until October 27 1955.
Grading over 6 discs and 12 sides is very difficult but overall the whole set plays with some
clicks and tics, there is some background crackle as you would expect and a few non serious hairlines,
the only exception is the start of disc 1 which has noticeable background noise.
Overall I suppose VG but with parts better than that. There are NO skips, NO repeats but
the entire set could do with a professional clean
PLEASE NOTE:- these will not transform into anything else than described.
NOT for the purist, expect imperfections in this ultra rare first pressing set of 6 records.
These records are over 64 years old so they are bound to show their age!
