AUNT MARY Janus NORWAY Prog psych RARE LP VERTIGO Orig
Fantastic cross between genesis, emerson lake & Palmer Canterburry prog with some Jethro Tull folk elements topped with hard edge electric guitar and organ, make this band, and in particular this album one of the top European achievements of the 70's. Has been compared to the Danish Culpeper's Orchard and also Old man & the sea (no wonder, these guys actually were living in Denmark so the influence is clear).
This is the original pressing on Gatefold Vertigo 6317 750 from 1973 in gorgeous condition except for 1 thing with the cover : there is a crease that runs from one side to the other (from the top left corner to the middle of the edge of the opening side) it's sort of like a bend, really just a visual thing as there is no split or tears, but corner wear only, i will therefore grade it VG++. The vinyl is very clean with just fainth hairlines and grades conservatively EX.
