POLYDOR 583065 (UK) 1969
I am currently out of the UK at my Australian address
this item will be shipped from my Australian stock
the very rare (allegedly almost immediately withdrawn) first Audience LP including formative versions of some of the memorable songs soon to resurface on their first two Charisma LPs Friend's Friend's Friend and The House On The Hill - this one is almost impossible to find with a nice cover, due to the somewhat fragile nature of its design and manufacture - lovely LP with some of the finest reed and woodwind work of the progressive era by Keith Gemmell, as well as unique vocals and 'gut'-stringed acoustic guitar from Howard Werth - also the highly distinctive bass guitar and drums of Trevor Williams and Tony Connor

fine, almost completely unmarked 'furry' matt finish to the front and rear 'blacklite' sleeve - just one small white spot to the front centre right and an insignificant 'wavy' area (possibly from new) to the front left - close to perfect square corners with virtually nothing in the way of bumps - razor-sharp opening edges - tight seams with no shelf wear - great flat undamaged spine with original ½" (half inch) 'pinched' tapers to top and bottom - all lettering clear and sharp - the cover is exceptional for such a fragile all-black unlaminated design - virtually as new condition - there is no circular wear to the front or rear - a super example of this rare gem - I reversed the polarisation of the shot for the last photo to reveal how the band really looked when the picture was taken over 35 years ago - another interesting experiment is to try looking at this album cover under 'black' light - amazing!
NOW EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
