Description
ATOMIC ROOSTER'S FIRST ALBUM 1970 RARE EARLY PRESS B&C UK ALBUM !!
I am selling my husband's collection. This Album is listed in the Rare Records Guide. It was released in 1970 on the B&C Label. The tracks are:- Friday the 13th, And So to Bed, Broken Wings, Before tomorrow, Banstead, S.L.Y, Winter and Decline and Fall. I understand that this is a very early press because Nick Graham left the band shortly after release and it is also significant that he is playing the flute on this copy. This is a very good copy of a rare and sought after album.
The sleeve is non laminated. The white front cover is a bit dirty, especially where a ring mark has developed. There is a three inch light crease on the left hand side. There are a few small creases coming from the edges. The back cover also has a slight ring mark and a couple of creases. There is a small mark in the centre. The edges and corners are a bit scuffed. The spine is also scuffed but only affects the writng in one place.
Band Members: Nick Graham, Vincent Crane and Carl Palmer.
Artwork by Adrian George
Printed and made by the E.J Day Group.
The vinyl is contained in its original poly-lined paper sleeve. This is in good condition.
Vinyl record itself is very clean with only a couple of very light scratches. These do not affect play. The record plays extremely well.
The black, textured B&C Label is in very good condition. Both sides display slight wear and tear around the spindle.
Matrix No. CAS+1010+A2/B2
