ATOMIC ROOSTER ALBUM "IN HEARING OF" ON PEGASUS RECORD LABEL PEG 1.

EXCELLENT FIRST PRESSING VINYL AND EXCELLENT SLEEVE.

RELEASED IN 1971, AN EXCELLENT PROGRESSIVE ROCK ALBUM.

Fisrt Pressing Matrix Numbers Side 1 PEG 1A-1U and Side 2 PEG 1B-1U.

Side 1 : Breakthrough; Break the ice; Decision/Indecision; A Soonful Of Bromide Helps The Pulse Rate Go Down;

Side 2 : Black snake; Head In The Sky; The Rock; the Price.

An Outstanding Album from one of the great groups of sixties and early 70's.

The Record is in excellent condition. The original Pegasus label is excellent, very slight mark to surface of Bside label, both labels are very clean and show no signs of spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre holes. The label have a very course finish and a distinctive inner circular groove, suggestting very first pressing..

The Vinyl is very clean, plays very well. The vinyl surface of the record is excellent, virtually no background noise other than to leadins to both sides where neeedle has dropped as is usual, plays extremely well. The vinyl is excellent and is virtually free of marks other than for only very light storage marks which are mainly only visible under very strong light. Overall excellent condition. The Vinyl is a rich dark black and has a very high gloss sheen and classic Stereo sound.

The Thick Card Gatefold Sleeve Cover is in excellent condition. It is very clean, there are No creases, No tears, No writing, No grubby marks or rips, No unwanted stickers or marks from stickers. There is no fading of colour, as unlaminated it was prone to heavy wear and staining. This sleeve is near perfect. All the sleeve edges are perfectly sharp and free from creases, no edge wear, the wide spine is rigid and most important all text is intact. Overall the sleeve is in excellent condition. The Inside gatefold is excellent, very clean, no marks, an overall excellent sleeve in superb ondition.

I am slowly thinning out my vast collection of mainly 60's and 70's Vinyl along with some from the 80's,90's. lots of memories but has got out of control somewhat!!, lots of duplicate copies and different pressings. lots of Psych and rock.
