RECORD CONDITION: EXCELLENT
Both aurally and visually this is a nice clean, shiny, well cared for disc. This is Atomic Roosters hard-to-find second album, and it’s great to find a first pressing in such a useable shape. This one plays with a dense, powerful and intense audio clarity. The power of the music is such that, the occasional pop or click doesn't impose on your enjoyment. There is a little light surface noise in a couple of places, a dull crackle, never an intrusive hiss. My guess is that this album has been played a few times but, fortunately, it has been handled with care and will provide the future owner with many hours of aural delight.
COVER CONDITION: VERY GOOD
Gatefold sleeve that has managed to keep itself clear of any major damage, it is fully intact and looks great. The main factors in considering the grade were, a little light scuffing around the corners, along with a few other small light scuffs on the front and rear sleeve. All the edges and the spine have a tiny amount of early stage scuffing and a couple of light creases, this is all fairly standard wear and tear for a record cover that has been used in a collection for 34 years. On the inner spread there is a crease near the centre and some slight inconsistency in the straightness of the card, nothing more than a light wobble effect that commonly comes with age. The sleeve does not display any ring-wear, even the inevitable circular impression of a disc is hardly there at all. In summary, there’s a little light early stage wear that hasn't developed into any serious damage, this is a very good sturdy gatefold album cover.
