Description
ATLANTA RHYTHM SECTION's "Champaign Jam" Remastered by Audiophile Pioneer MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB (038) in the 80's with the Chatsworth address and Pressed in JAPAN, is a TEST PRESSING with White MFSL Test Pressing labels (seen in Scan 2) with no printing, writing or stamps. Most Test Pressings come in a White Jacket (which I am also selling), however this one has a regular cover making it even more interesting. Also included is the original rice sleeve but No cardboard insert. The Cover comes in a plastic outer sleeve.
This and many other MFSL Test Pressings (& Regular MFSL records) I will be offering are from a former MFSL employee who has confirmed that he has Rarely or Never Played most of the Test Presses (and Never Played the Mint Regular releases).
The LP is in NEAR MINT PLUS condition, and appears to have been played once with a single visible spindle mark on each label, and not a mark or scratch of any kind on the clean, highly glossy vinyl.
The Cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition with both the top and bottom seams showing medium wear with a 1" split on the bottom and both showing semi-splits and crinkling, and the title seam showing less wear though there is 2-3" of semi-split at the top. The left corner is also worn from the semi-splits while the others show lighter wear. The front and back show light wear with an indent along the back.
There is no Reserve! What you see is what you get. I prefer a Money Order/Cashiers Check within 10 days of end of auction.
