Description

AT THE DRIVE-IN – “RELATIONSHIP OF COMMAND” LP

Nearly all items start at £7.99 with No Reserve (no matter how rare) and my descriptions are economic in their wording & limited to the essentials.
I hardly use phrasing such as “awesome” coupled with thousands of exclamation marks as a matter of self-respect. Please rely on my feedback for a proper grading & don’t hesitate to email any questions you may have.

GRADING

All records are originals except when noted. Record is graded first, then the cover.
For grading purposes I use the British Record Collector's grading scale (needless to detail on this one as it's known to all collectors) with occasionally (+) or (-) signs to denote the in-between conditions.

Generally speaking:
- a MINT (M) or NEAR MINT (M-) grade will give full satisfaction
- an EXCELLENT (EX) grade is always a shiny vinyl with possibly a faint mark or two, ONLY seen under a strong light and NOT affecting performance; in most cases NM and EX are pretty close)
- a VG+ or even a VG (Very Good) grade is always a shiny vinyl with some light surface marks & will give an enjoyable performance with no skips, pops or unpleasant surface noise.
Same logic applies to the cover's grade.
I do not list records at an inferior grade unless they are extremely rare & sought after.

INSURANCE

UK : Recorded or Special delivery is mandatory for purchases of £30.00 or more (not counting postage)
Europe & Rest Of The World : Registered Airmail is mandatory for purchases of £50 or more (not counting postage)

Royal Mail is not run by me, therefore I’m unable to recover & compensate for a lost packet posted without any form of tracking. My experience is that 1 packet over 150 or 200 is mishandled (either totally lost or eventually delivered after a ridiculously lengthy time period)

In this respect:

For all purchases beyond £30 (for the UK) or £50 (for overseas), a form of tracking mail is mandatory. This means that I will not accept any payment not taking into account this expense, unless explicitly requested

For all other under £30 or £50 purchases, I will always invoice with the least expensive form of tracking, but you are welcome to request a standard delivery instead, if you feel confident for your postal service. I will then issue a new invoice to your request

I need to stress out though that in doing so, you’re also taking full responsibility for the delivery. Likewise, whoever instantly pays using PayPal’s ‘Pay Now’ prior of receiving my invoice and opts out from any form of tracked delivery, are also assuming full responsibility for the delivery

PACKING

All records are securely packed & shipped in protective plastic sleeves out of their jackets, to avoid seam splits in transit
