RARE SUNSET STRIP GOSPEL NIGHTCLUB LP ON CREATIVE SOUNDS FROM 1968..EX EX-...I STAYED HERE IN 1969 TO KEEP OFF THE STREETS...PRETTY COOL ARTIFACT OF THE LATE 60'S SCENE IN L.A....THESE WERE MY WORDS BACK IN 1974 ........ARTHUR BLESSITT SOUL SESSION AT HIS PLACE 67 CREATIVE SOUND outrageous period piece from The "All night psychedelic gospel nightclub" on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. When I hitched out to Calif. back in 1969 I stayed at this place almost every night to get some sandwiches and play some pool, they let you stay ( but not sleep ) there and the cops would turn a blind eye because just about everyone there was a runaway or junkie. I quote "Acid heads, speed freaks, bikers, prostitutes,pushers, Hells Angels and Black Panthers...thats Arthurs congregation" about 25 minutes is outrageous ranting about drugs and the last 15 min. is the house band of converted drug addicts psyching out.. amazing time capsule . ALL MY LPS MAY NEED A SWIPE...ANIMALS LIVE HERE BESIDES ME
