ART PEPPER – PEPPER POT – INTERLUDE MO512 – VG+ - MONO
Recorded in Hollywood, CA in August of 1956, this LP features Art Pepper on alto, Marty Paich on piano, Buddy Clark on bass and Frank Capp on drums. SIDE ONE: MELANCHOLY MADELINE; YOU AND THE NIGHT AND THE MUSIC; ABSTRACT ART; OVER THE RAINBOW and SIDEWINDER. SIDE TWO: BESAME MUCHO; I SURRENDER DEAR; DIANE and PEPPER POT. It comes in its original sleeve. This is a Mono recording.
I have rated this LP as VG+ for the following reasons. The vinyl is relatively clean, but there are a few marks on it that appear to be in the pressing. They do not interfere with play. There are some marks around the spindle hole on both sides. The record jacket is in good to excellent condition. There is a partially taped bottom seam and some wear on the top seam. There is also some sign of wear on both the cover and the liner notes, which you can see from the photos below.
