THE PRESTIGE BLUES-SWINGERS "OUTSKIRTS OF TOWN" LP - On PRESTIGE Records, #7145. Rare original MONO pressing with the classic Yellow & Black labels and Bergenfield, NJ address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides with RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Idrees Sulieman, Art Farmer/trumpets; Buster Cooper/trombone; Jerome Richardson/alto sax, flute; Jimmy Forrest/tenor sax; Pepper Adams/baritone sax; Ray Bryant/piano; Tiny Grimes/guitar; Wendell Marshall/bass; Osie Johnson/drums; Jerry Valentine/arranger. The vinyl is in phenomenal NM condition (beautiful gloss). Stunning! Both labels are pristine. The thick laminated cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully. Small sticker stain on back at top right corner. There are NO significant seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
