LP is in Near Mint condition.
The thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless, withoutscuffs,or scratches of any kind.This lp appears unplayed!
The fidelity is superb,with no distortion, pops, clicks,or background noise of any kind.
Jacket is in Near Mint condition. Original heavy and glossy jacket is in very nice condition. There are virtually no marks, scuffs, or blemishes of any kind.This lp is stored in the original factory inner sleeve. The 1961 version of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers was an inspiration for the many to follow, with later trumpeters often emulating Lee Morgan, saxophonists seeking to match Wayne Shorter's creativity and pianists hoping to bring back Bobby Timmons' funkiness. One part of the group could never be duplicated and that was Art Blakey, who is showcased on the title cut of this Lp, "The Freedom Rider," a powerful drum solo that pays tribute to the civil rights workers. Each of the musicians has their spots throughout this memorable Lp, but Blakey takes honors.
