ART BLAKEY/JAZZ MESSENGERS- RITUAL ORIGINAL 1960 LP. PACIFIC JAZZ. EXC AUDIO! This is a 1957 (recorded) 1960 (released) album by ART BLAKEY with JACKIE McLEAN, BILL HARDIMAN, SAM DOCKERY, and SPANKY DeBREST. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTES: The front cover has some wear that should be visible in the photo. The back jacket also has some wear and discoloration PLUS the previous owner has written his name and phone number on the top margin (see photo). The sleeve has a partial split on the bottom and a split along the top that has been taped on the inside. The record has been played quite often per the spindle marks, but it was clearly played on high-end equipment. The audio is remarkably free of noise (surface noise, ticks, pops, etc.). The sound is bright, lustrous, and clear.
