Description
Here is an original 1963 Blue New York USA mono pressing of Art Blakey with a whole battery of drumers that perform on this album. Side 1 has the normal groove, side 2 has the deep groove pressing. Both sides have the ear symbol. Something worth noting,"RVG" is hand etched, not stamped in the dead wax.
The record is NM with few plays and no scratches, and only 1 linear sleeve scuff on side1, nothing on side 2. This album retains most of it's original luster, truly amazing considering it's age.
The labels are NM- with no spindle marks.
The jacket is VG++- and retains all the original shine on the lamination with 1 minimal wear mark on the bottom right corner of the front side. The rear has slight yellowing at the top left corner and slight ring wear at the bottom. The darker spot at the bottom is my shadow.
All in all a very good collectable album worthy of any fine jazz collection.
