RECORD NEW MINT COVER NEW MINT A much sought-after piece of vinyl is the '84 "The HeavyMetal Mania" 4-track 12" from the German band ARROW. The music timeless 80`s metal songs are New York Breakdown , Horizon in Flames, The End of a Rocker , and Run to Hell. Recorded in 1984 that particular song balances between early thrash and regular heavy metal. But since they don't play as fast as SODOM, DESTRUCTION, VENOM,? and have more melody reminding of old IRON MAIDEN these tracks are plain heavy metal. The production is like most other heavy bands of that era, quite powerful and that suits ARROW's music well. . In April 1983 the group adds vocalist Pete Külpe. At the same time the band changed the drummer, Gerd Hilgers.
After many rehearsals the band starts performing in rock clubs. At the same time members of the team decided to record some demos. The two demos recorded: "Drivin 'Devil" (1983) and "Built To Destroy" (1984).
