Description

This is a beautiful copy of a promo single by Arlene Smith, of The Chantels: "Good Girls" b/w "Everything" (Spectorious 150). Released in 1963. Songs by Bea Junio/Billy Dillard and E. Jones. Arranged and conducted by Sammy Lowe. Although it may seem like it given the label name, there is likely no Phil Spector involvement on this record (but Phil Spector did produce the Arlene Smith single "He Knows I Love Him Too Much" in 1961).

This is a fantastic record, as Arlene Smith sounds amazing. Great Northern Soul number, and tough to find (believe it or not) in promo format (gold label stock copies are more common). Stamped (on both sides) by the radio station KTEL, AM 1490 in Walla Walla, Washington. Other than that, labels are nice. High gloss, light paper scuffs. VG+ condition overall.
