ONE OF THE BEST LPs I HAVE EVER HEARD !!!!IT REALLY IS UNBELIEVABLE WHY THIS GROUP ARE NOT MASSIVE !This magnificent LP was released in 1969 in England France and Australia.I think wewould all agree the English pressing is the worst of them all in terms of sound qualityeven if it is the most highly prized by collectors, a mint UK copy is an easy £1500.This is the AUSTRALIAN pressing pressed on ASTOR records under licence from the UK MIDDLE EARTH record label and is known to be the more SUPERIOR pressingof them all in terms of sound quality. The sleeve (and what a great sleeve) is the fully laminated flip back variety. If you double click the pictures it looks as if the spine has been squashed flat it has not. That`s the way this sleeve was made, when the LP is laid down flatyou can also read the spinal writings it is as if the spine is on the front of the LP ! The back of the sleeve is unmarked I would grade the sleeve as Excellent minus.The Astor labels are in lovely condition and have a few spindle trails to each side. Both sides1 and 2 of the vinyl still have a lovely luster sheen to them even though under a very bright spot light there are very light hairlines to both sides these are simply cosmetic on this 48 yearold rare gem. In my 39 years collecting records I chose to be a completest collector gatheringthe pressings of records I hunted down from every country they were pressed in. I think thatas serious record collecting moves forward more and more collectors are becoming completest`ssimply because these pressings are so interesting and so different to the UK and USA pressings that fetch the bigger money`s and in this case here with this Australian pressing known by collectorsto be the more superior in sound quality !Anyone who loves rock music should hear this LP. Some of the best guitar you will everhear is on this LP, unbelievable to think it pre dates Led Zeppelin ! This is a very rare record if your lucky eBay may find 1 or 2 a year if any.....So an excellent cheaper option to the inferior but very highly prized UK pressing .Rare pressings of rare records are only going one way . These pressings from othercountries may not achieve are the UK prices but I for one believe that is changing rapidly !One thing is guaranteed ALL rare records are rising and these RARE RARE pressings of highly prized collectors records will certainly follow UK values simply because they are the very VERY RARE, cheaper option !

All my records are housed in Mobile Fidelity Mastering Sleeves.This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the conditionof the original inner sleeve .
The sleeve grades as VERY GOOD ++
The vinyl side one has no hairlines at all. Side 2 has three of the lightest hairlines possible about 3 inches long that have no affect on the playingof the record.So it grades EXCELLENT MINUS.price rating
