78 rpm
One of the rarest and most sought after BEATLES APPLE LABEL releases.
Released on the 17th November 1972 and pressed on a ten inch record playing at 78rpm. This was a Beatles 'joke' as the A-Side sounded so old, it could have well been a 78 from the 1950s!
Very few at all were bought by the public and those would have been by mail order or bought from the Apple Shop.
To get interest in their diversification into Cajun music a few were sent to the press . . .

This record we have on offer comes with its exclusive printed red and white paper cover and, most importantly, the four sheet press release from Apple Records explaining the band and style of music and bearing the address and phone number of Apple Records.
This has always been one of the 'holy grail' records on the Apple label and hardly ever comes on sale. Since this is even rarer as a 'Promotional Copy' with the correct cover and the Biography for the Press we expect serious collectors will get very excited!
The record itself is in 'excellent' condition with only the lightest of surface marks under a strong light: the outer paper cover and the insert 'biography' are both, 'near mint'.
This is a really special item and, since it is unique amongst the Apple releases, being a 10" 78rpm, the novelty value is superb. This is one to add to a serious collection and will make you the envy of other Beatles fans.
