Description
Up for offers is an extremely rare 10" acetate on the Apple label of three tracks recorded by the Iveys who, as I'm sure you know, would go on to become Badfinger. The tracks are Yesterday ain't comin' back/Salli Bloo/I've been waiting. "Yesterday" is just a basic recording without the overdubbed strings (harp?) whilst the other two tracks are as per the released versions. The record is in VG- to VG condition with a fair amount of clicks and crackles. There is some minor damage (picture 3) in the form of three tiny areas where the plastic has chipped away to reveal the metal base but it is on the run in before the first track begins. The disc plays at 33 1/3 and needs to be played with a moderate to heavy tone arm - (I played it with a very light pickup and there were a couple of skips but I'm sure a heavier arm would play through OK). There is some slight wrinkling to the label. Record comes in a plain sleeve. Any questions, please ask & I'll do my best to answer. No idea what this is worth so starting at a reasonable price.
