DESCRIPTION:    

Vintage 78 rpm record, item is single-sided and is on an early Victor Monarch Records label (label is black with gold print), item has spoken announcement at beginning, and this item probably dates from about 1902.

 

D.A. LYONS AND WALTER B. ROGERS (FLUTE/CORNET DUET WITH PIANO)

VICTOR MONARCH 3424 “Titl’s Serenade” “1901”, title, and band are written in wax, show faintly through label

 

 

THIS 100+ YEAR OLD RECORD IS IN GOOD CONDITION.  IT STILL HAS A SOMEWHAT SHINY SURFACE AND PLAYS LOUDLY WITH EVEN BACKGROUND NOISE (pops, ticks, static).

 

MEASUREMENTS:

This item measures 10 inches in diameter.

 

CONDITION ISSUES:

Visible wear (light scratches and scuffs) on this item, very small surface dimples, some light label wear and fading, some light wear around spindle hole, and light needle runs on playing surface that produce quiet pops and ticks.
