Description

ANNIE ROSS & THE TONY KINSEY QUINTET - " LOGUERHYTHMS ", TRansatlantic Records Ltd. (TRA 107) 1963.

Very rare 1963, original UK issue of the rare Transatlantic LP by Annie Ross and KInsey's Quintet, also featuring; Les Condon, Gordon Beck, Stanley Myers, etc.

English issue and pressing.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve (the original inner sleeve has also been retained and included in the auction - see photo)

CONDITION:

VINYL =  EXCELLENT-  (No big scratches, no groove damage, no distortion, just a few light spindle trails, etc. Under a bright grading lamp I can make out a few very light marks and faint surface scuffs just visible on the vinyl's surface - although none of these correspond directly to any audible defects. It generally plays well - mostly free from interuption from distortion, clunks, excessive surface, etc... when listening in headphones, there is some very faint occasional surface noise audible during the run-in and some of the quieter sections and as the record played, I did hear the odd faint click in the background. Being a record with mostly lead vocals and light, spacious accompaniment, you can hear the very faint surface noise a bit more than you usually would with such a slight imperfection. Actually, I feel that even when new, slight traces would have been present... and we are talking about such faint imperfections that they would have been completely obscure by the music on a busier record.
Overall, although it is not quite perfect, it is by no means ruined by these minor imperfections and would still make a good honest copy for someone to play and enjoy.

Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)

SLEEVE = V.G.++ (No rips, tears, heavy creasing, defacing, etc. Has just a couple of very light creases, a couple of dirty marks, some very small areas of delamination and it is not as white as it once was - see photos for further clarification)

NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.

ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!

HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
