RARE!! ANIMALS LP. Original 1965 UK. COLUMBIA

Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!! “ANIMAL TRACKS”.

MONO!!!

Up for auction is this 2nd album of this great Sixties band, headed up by the very capable Eric Burdon and indeed to take nothing away from the truly superb organ playing of Alan Price.

This album has been played and shows extremely light indiscretions both to the outer cover and the vinyl. BUT, I must stress that these anomalies are only slight and the sounds are quite superb. I only mention these slight issues, and they are slight issues, to give a precise description. But, hey, this is a great album.

COVER: EX+. Slight lamination wrinkle. Top gloss front. Totally intact rear, with some slight ageing, otherwise lovely and as nice as you might find.

VINYL: Just one faint stylus touch and a light ring-line on one track of each side are present which do not affect the superb quality of play. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong EX++.

LABELS: Superb sharp colours. No indiscretions except for a couple of light spindle trails. No writing.

SIDE TWO : 1 A Making this an extremely early first pressing.

INNER SLEEVE: Excellent. No writing or splits.

AUDIO: Superb thumping sounds from this MONO recorded album. As nice as you might like to hear. No audible intrusions other than great sounds. Just lovely.

To sum up. This album has been played as stated, but is still deserving of a good home and should not be ignored. The sounds are superb and truly classic.
