ANDY WARHOL ART COVER Vladimir Horowitz RCA LM 9021. Piano music of Mendelssohn and Liszt.  The famed art cover by Andy Warhol is in excellent condition. The beautiful blue cover has just a hint of ringwear at the very top and very bottom. The blue is very consistent and there is very liitle area where any white specks appear. There is writing on the top white border where someone wrote 10-24-56  (please see scan). There is also some very tastefully applied tape to the top and the bottom of the jacket. The tape only covers the white border and does not extend to the blue cover. The tape is not visible on the photos, and it is difficult to see when actually holding the lp. On scan 4, where you see a close up of the date written on the border, you are looking at the taped area as well.  There are minor dings on the upper right & upper left corners of the lp, and the extreme right edge has some wear which is visible on the scan.  The labels are in VG++ condition.  The lp is in VG condition. It has nice gloss, but also has various very light scratches which cannot be felt.  The lp actually plays well, with occasional light clicks or static in the background.  If you're looking for a nice generally clean cover of this particular LP, please study the scan. This is certainly a quality cover. The lp will be shipped the Friday following the end of the auction.
