LP : Anders Lindskogs Kvartett

Original Swedish pressing from 1975 on the small label Amigo, AMLP 817. Liner-notes in Swedish and partly in English on the back. Recorded July 30th 1975 live at the Fasching jazz club in Stockholm, Sweden. This seems to be the only outing of A.Lindskogs under his own name. He was pretty busy recording and playing in Sweden since 1960, appearing on records by O.Pettiford, on the 1975 LP Berndt Egerbladh/Kristallen Den Fina or on the in demand 1972 modal/souljazz LP “Oh Pretty Little Neida” by Rolf Ericson. On this live-date he performs 4 long hard-bop tracks with tasty arrangements, great soli throughout and backed by the tight drumming of one of Sweden's best drummers. Highlights are the awesome modal first track and an outstanding version of Sonny Rollins' “Oleo”.

Condition: the record looks mint- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks mint-- under a very strong halogen lamp. It plays in mint-.

The cover shows light ringwear, the sensitive white colour has darkened a bit ( next to the spine ), all seams/spine are intact with just a slightest rub in a few parts, front & back are quite fine, there are residues/wear from a removed price-sticker plus a small handwritten price on the front's upper left; overall vg+.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint-- aus. Sie spielt in mint-.

Das Cover hat leichtes ringwear, das empfindliche weisse cover ist an einigen Stellen nachgedunkelt ( parallel zur seitlichen Kante ), alle Kanten sind intakt mit leichtem Abrieb an wenigen Stellen, Vorder- & Rückseite sind sehr gut erhalten, in der oberen linken Ecke der Vorderseite sind Reste bzw. Abschabungen auf Grund eines entfernten Preisaufklebers vorhanden plus einem kleinen handgeschriebenen Preis; insgesamt in vg+ .

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
