Anyone who has heard his first LP will be happy to receive this LP. Amos Lee also thrilled with wonderful pop songs and of course his gorgeous voice. Accompanied by piano and acoustic guitar, he sings completely relaxed, sometimes with blues and gospel elements, then again the elegant ballad. Most of the songs are mid-tempo, but then Lee shifts gears down and demonstrates how well a first-class voice can be captivated without significant instrumentation. He surprises us with a country number in the CSNY style, then again with banjo and subtle brass, his music literally bubbles out of the speakers and ensnares the listener, who just can not escape this LP. Amos Lee underlines with "Supply And Demand" that his 2005 debut album was not a fluke and he is one of the best songwriters. Anspieltipp: "Night Train", an incredible number! Gatefold sleeve. ......

Jeder, der seine erste LP gehört hat, wird sich auf diese LP freuen. Amos Lee begeistert auch hier mit wunderbaren Popsongs und natürlich seiner hinreissenden Stimme. Begleitet von Piano und Akustikgitarre singt er völlig entspannt, mal mit Blues- und Gospelelementen, dann wieder die elegante Ballade. Die meisten Songs sind im Midtempo gespielt, dann aber schaltet Lee nochmal einen Gang ‚runter und demonstriert, wie gut eine erstklassige Stimme ohne nennenswerte Instrumentierung faszinieren kann. Er überrascht uns mit einer Countrynummer im CSNY-Stil, dann wieder mit Banjo und dezenten Bläsern, seine Musik perlt geradezu aus den Lautsprechern und umgarnt der Hörer, der sich dieser LP einfach nicht entziehen kann. Amos Lee unterstreicht mit „Supply And Demand“, dass sein 2005er Debütalbum keine Eintagsfliege war und er damit zu den besten Songwritern gehört.
